Groz finishes off his plate, then starts filling it again. He repeats this one more time, then starts slowing down a bit.

Azy ate the pieces Groz gave her, making some happy squeaks as she did.

Luna finished her food with gusto and then went to the kitchen. "I hope you all saved room for dessert!" she called starting to frost the cake.

Tanyr pulls his eyes from the fork and smiles happily at Luna. "I certainly did." He returns the fork to his empty plate, looking over at Groz'Len. "So, tell me more about yourself, my friend."

Swallows his mouth full. "Well, I hail from the Quin'De swamps, not far west from town, from the Zang tribe. I'm the second oldest of a brood of 10." He takes another bite of food, then continues. "Trained a bit as a warrior, but ended up as a trader of sorts. Going to town here to buy and sell some stuff for the people back home." He stops to take one last bite, before asking "Anything else you wanna know... Friend?" as he leans back in his chair and starts picking his teeth with his tongue a bit.

Tanyr smiles at Groz'Len. "What's your home like?" Apart from his old workshop and this city, Tanyr had limited experiences with other places and other cultures

"Large trees and lots of water. Some homes on the sides of the trees, some one the ground, some on stilts in the water. Simple houses mostly, though some of the ones on the ground are a bit bigger and fancier. Oh, and some areas with large spider-webs. I live in one of the upper parts of the trees when I'm there. It's a beautiful place..." He sighs and seems to think of something for a moment. "Anything else? I enjoy talking about home..."

Luna came back with a simply decorated cake. she cut large slices and gave everyone some.

"Oooh, cake... Don't have that in the swamps." Groz says before he starts eating.

Tanyr eats his slice of cake slowly, he looks up at Groz'Len while he eats. "What do you guys eat back home?"

The little yellow mote, no bigger than a fleck of dust, falls off the shoulder of the clockwork contraption. It gently floats along with the rest of the dust in the air, and lands on an unused fork.

Luna ate her piece calmly. It was obvious that she liked it. She smiled and watched them.

Groz speaks between eating pieces of cake "We eat some kinds of spiders and some fruits that grow in the trees." He takes another bite. "And during the spring, we get attacked by gnolls. They are real tasty, actually. Though we also do trade a bit, as I said, and we buy some foods from town here as well." He then finishes his piece and leans back in the chair again. He then points to Luna. "You. You are THE best chef I've met."

Luna laughed a bit. "Well after a few hundred years you kinda learn the tricks of the trade." she said with a warm smile, "I'm a lot older than what people think and sometimes it works to my advantage."

"Or the advantage of your friends" He says, smiling, before he starts cleaning his teeth with his tongue again.

Meanwhile, Azy finishes her portions, then lies down, letting out a low squeak of satisfaction.

Luna smiled and relaxed. To her all was right and perfect with the world, at least for now.

The little mote silently began to degrade the fork, morphing the very substance of the utensil, shifting it backwards in time. The fork took on a very rustic color.

Slowly, the mote began to grow, devouring the nearby plate and table. It grew exponentially, until it became the size of a melon. It slowly began to seep onto the table and devour it, endangering anything that touched it.

Luna noticed the mote and looked pissed off. "Damn that little brat. I oughta just kill him." She muttered.

Geoz quickly picked Azy off the table and pushed himself back a bit. "What in the name of the four...?"

"Looks like its some sort of time magic. Pisses me off when people do this kind of stuff." Luna said, "I really hate that kid."

"Time magic? Like that guy earlier?" He asks as he stands up and puts the spider on his shoulder. "That means he's close, right?"

"I don't think he's close," Luna said simply, "However this thing is dangerous. That punk is really pissing me off now." She surrounded the mote with a powerful sealing spell and picked the solid orb up. "If this keeps up I'll seal his power and beat him within an inch of his life." she muttered.

The mote began to grow, coating the sphere with a dim yellow glow. It began to corrode the sphere of energy.

"I'll be more than happy to help you with that! Though, I see no reason to stop while he still lives!"

"You can finish the job then," she said destroying the mote to prevent further damage, "I just wanna beat the snot out of him."

"If you know a way to find him, I damn well will end the slaving bastard!"
