The Days of the Dwarf

When Sight was back in his home world, his body was his own. He was born and raised as a dwarf, working diligently to fulfill his duties as King of the Ironfist Clan as well as his Priest Training. He grew up quickly under the shelter of his Dwarven Kingdom, safely nestled in the impenetrable fortress known as Stronghold Ironforge. He fell in love with a woman known as Karin. He pledged his work to impress her in hopes of winning her over. However, no matter what the dwarf did, it seemed as though nothing would do the trick. He'd even built a castle on a mountain top for her to no avail...The love struck dwarf was bound and determined to win her over, and chose to take the Oath. He became a true Priest of Valor and became one that wields a sacred weapon, a giant axe blessed with holy light to cleave his enemies, in order to prove to Karin that he was worth her time. This also proved useless, and the dwarf was heartbroken..

Time passed on, and the Master of all Liches, Malignus, grew in power. Sight could do nothing to stop it.. Eventually, Zarthes Zalendar opened a temporal rift. He threw all the Heroes into the portal...this was one of the worst... and best... things to happen to Sight.

The passing through the Void was treacherous, and fast. The party sprinted from monsters unseen by mortal eyes in millenia. The beasts were powerful. Powerful enough to tear any single one of them limb from limb.. or worse. However, the Heroes had one weapon on their side that saved them from immanent peril. Sight's Guardian. Solaris the Flame. Solaris did the only thing possible that he could to save them all. He detonated. He took Sight's body out in a blaze of glory, slaying all the surrounding demons, and blasting the party into the opposing portal. The fellowship had landed in a strange world, one called Betelgeuse. Which strangely enough was Zarthes home world.
