Book 2: Of Fire and Ice

Chapter 1: The Return Home
After the long battle within the Void the corrupted Sorcerer, Sight Foreson, was no more. The very fibers of his being were ripped apart by the final blow from Ascalon. His spirit appeared. Wishing all the heroes good luck, and bid them all farewells after apologizing for all that he had done to them. His sincerity was unsettling to the Heroes, as they had never seen this side of Sight before.
The final spell, the one to take them Home. Was Ostium Omnis Betelgeuse. However, it was unneccesary as Eli told Sight. Sight's ethereal body disappeared, and the party suddenly warped back to Vendigroth.
The air felt...alive. The birds were singing their gay songs. The frogs croaked below Vendigroth in the lake. Even the wind seemed to frolic amongst the trees and frozen wastelands. Everything was as it should have been long ago when they arrived. It was peaceful, and it was good. All the life seemed to be returning to the planet.
