This is a biography of Hardeu, of the Ocas clan.

PERSONALITY: Was once friendly, open, and humble, but slowly grew more miserable as the new lands brought much memory of his past into his life, eventually growing into a anger-ridden, vengeful elf.

SKILLS: Hardeu was an average shot with the bow and an average swordsman, until recently, serves a new Mistress/Master, who has granted him with extreme accuracy with the bow - which he is grateful for.

BIO: Quite long - I put my past life, and the present life on here.

War & Exile

Hardeu was technically born of the Ocanious clan, and grew the life in the origin-land, Ocanious was the origin of all elven clans in the land of Arrethria, the reason there are so many clans that derived from the Ocanious, is because due to the old age of the clan, and the mass population, thousands of elves were forced to migrate out of the land, and into the lands of the unknown and unexplored - which is how Ocas was formed.
However, before we get into the birth of Ocas, let me tell a bit more of the Ocanious land, Arrethria.

Arrethria was the typical elven land, swarmed with trees, rivers, rocks and mountains. It was believed that Arrethria was the most beautiful land of all the universe, however, the clan only began to migrate not long ago, so the under estimation of the elves is to understandable. Arretheria had very large territory, with rivals and allies, these rivals were mostly Orcs and Dwarves, and the allies were mixed with other elven clans and a few independent Orc and Dwarf nations. Anyways, despite their allies, the rivalry Orc clans managed to capture a southern city of Arrethria, Mankin. Now, let me tell you a little something about Mankin; it is a coastal city, one of the most important cities to Arrethria. Mankin was responsible for all exports and imports of the Ocanious clan (which of course, includes all sub-clans). Anyways, the generals of Arretheria were told by the spirits of the elves, that they were to bring the invaders great struggle and cause them to retreat, and it was so; Commander Hardeu, the Bold, set off from the capital, Norwex, into the Tara mountains, and arrived in the northern forests of Mankin, where he and the army rested before continuing to the first settlement of the city.

Unfortunately, there are unfortunate events to come, as nor the Commander, or his army are aware of the fact that the surrounding tribes of dwarves have caught onto the trails of the army, and are surrounding the camp and preparing to slaughter everyone - all is lost for the army of Hardeu.
Anyway, night had already fallen, and the dwarves had begun attacking the army in their sleep, slaughtering the soldiers most vigorously, and tying up the rest. The dwarves took the soldiers and hung them, tortured them, and let them bleed and starve to death, while they forced those who were next to watch. Unfortunately, the dwarves recognized Hardeu was the commander, and saved him for last. Hardeu was forced to watch his closest friends be tortured, starved, and close to their death, hung. This was a traumatic time for him, and of course, anyone would try to escape; and so he did, Hardeu was alone for a few hours while the dwarves were busy torturing his soldiers, so he managed to wiggle the ropes off of his ankles and wrists and make a successful, run for it. Alas, no plan works out in favor of the planner, a dwarve saw Hardeu flee, so the dwarve followed him and they broke out into a small, very short fight. Hardeu, despite the horrors he has just witnessed, is still strong and angry, he took his sword and slashed the torso of the dwarve, but that wasn't enough, and the dwarve carved two scars into Hardeu's face. As both Hardeu and the dwarve sit there in pain, Hardeu makes the final blow and stabs the dwarf through the skull with the sword, and limps back to Arrethria, horrified, in pain and weak.

Mankin was never taken.

Now, leaving the past, in the past, I will tell you about Hardeu's life following the tragedy.
Hardeu was diagnosed with PTSD, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, which means the tragedy has caused him to be swarmed with fear and despair all the time. Hardeu was forced to retire, and like most elves in Arrethria, migrated into the snowlands with his friends and family, past Sahlisburg, and into the unexplored lands of the world. However, retiring and migration does not save Hardeu or his family and friends, as they are slaughtered, leaving Hardeu the only survivor due to his past fighting skills. Hardeu grew depressed, and since he was alone, struggled to survive in the conditions he lived in. Over the years, Hardeu wandered the lands in search of civilization, putting up with the harsh conditions life threw at him, eventually, he came across a town of Dwarves; as if life couldn't get much worse than this. The dwarves knew who Hardeu was, he was a mess at the time, and was very weak, so the dwarves shipped Hardeu off with their trade ship, with an intention for the ship to actually reach it's destination, a storm came, and, you guessed it, the storm washed the ship off it's path and Hardeu ended up on the shores of an unknown land.

This is where his new life begins.

A New Life

Hardeu woke up in a large room, assuming he had been brought there by the natives of the land. Hardeu explored the room, discovering doors that led to more rooms, and eventually a warp. Hardeu took the warp, hoping it would not harm him, and was warped to a strange location, a snowland with trees of not leaves, but ice, of course, this scared him and he ran. He was still a custom to the condition of PTSD, and the strange surroundings brought back memories of his awful past. Hardeu, being an elf who can live in almost any condition, ran from the snowlands he was in, to the city of Vendigroth, and past the mountains that surrounded - since he was afraid, he didn't take the time to greet the residents - if they were residents at all, he would've thought.

Hardeu started a settlement just over the mountains of the city, where he dug into a mountain in the snowlands and began his new life of new beginnings and new opportunities.
Months went by, Hardeu had met new people, he made friends of them, John Hawke, Dedtoo - of the Blackskull clan, Avior, Oak - of the Barkfoot clan and Vladimir Hawke. Aside from his friends, he had met those of fear and hate, the Sorcerer - Sight, and the Sorceress - Nadia.

Over the next couple of months, Hardeu was settled into his new life, he grew miserable over the years, and thrived for happiness. He invited others into his home for the night and for some company, where he grew close to others while they shared stories of their past - which due to his PTSD, Hardeu went through tremendous fear at the time.

One day, as Hardeu went about his business, the sorceress took Hardeu for a stroll around the city, Hardeu wasn't afraid at the time, because he had just met her, and did not know of her evil. The Sorceress led Hardeu to a room far underground, where she tortured him and choked him half to death, this went on for hours, however, the commotion that was caused attracted the Sorcerer, Sight, and sigurney, the Archmage. The torture slowly faded and eventually stopped, Hardeu had thanked sigurney, and once all was settled between the group, they all went about their business, typical horror story, right? No.

Christmas came, and Sight and Nadia were temporarily good, in this time, Hardeu and Nadia grew close, which later on, Hardeu will realize one of two things, the closeness was the best, or the worst decision of his life. Hardeu was confronted months after Christmas by Nadia, and by then, Hardeu was a miserable, sorry excuse for a commander Elf of the Ocanious clan, and, (un)fortunately, sought refuge from his life of despair and depression, and Nadia had just the thing. Sight wandered through the lands and joined Nadia and Hardeu, they both offered Hardeu two options of life, to remain miserable and keep his current freedom, or to serve them, become a puppet of hate and fear. Out of pure frustration and hopelessness, Hardeu chose to become their servant; he had PTSD and wanted to feel like he was worth something.

A few minutes following, Nadia and Sight offered Hardeu two gifts, a gift of power and strength, or a gift of extreme accuracy and decisiveness; being an archer, he wisely chose the gift of extreme accuracy.

Days went by, Hardeu grew angry and vengeful, he was forced to injure his friend due to the fact that he now serves the dark side, and was assigned the task of spying on the citizens of Vendigroth and to report any news to Nadia. Time went by fast, and it seemed that all was happening one after the other, that being said, Hardeu found himself in the lounge of Nadia, a hot, evil, dark place, where she managed to push his buttons and make him suffer mentally to the extreme, Hardeu was outraged, he wanted nothing but vengeance for the loss of his army, friends, and wife, and that is exactly what Nadia had given him. After much discussion, Hardeu's soul was hardened and filled with more darkness, and he set off to kill all those who resembled those who made him suffer, and anyone who had the blood of those in them.

Hardeu was now off to kill all dwarves, and all those with a bloodline OF dwarves; aside from his master.

The day after Hardeu set off to do such a thing, he decided to try and persuade an Orc into serving the darkness. This Orc was Dedtoo, a Priest of the light. After much discussion and arguing, Hardeu managed to anger Dedtoo so much, Dedtoo tried to beat Hardeu to a pulp. Hardeu managed to slip away, leaving Dedtoo nothing to break, except his own possessions.

A few days following, Dedtoo, Oak, Arc, Avior, and Hardeu all went to the Castle of Siegfried, where Hardeu eventually was broken down by much discussion of Oak and Dedtoo, and Hardeu was filled with immense guilt and shame, that he gave into Oak's need for a sacrifice, and offered his body as a sacrifice to the God, Gaia.

SIDENOTE: There is probably a lot of grammatical errors, punctuation errors, and spelling errors - I wrote this right off the bat so I didn't polish it up. I'm also too lazy to edit it.

Sorry about that, I was actually unsure what to consider you when I was writing that part, you being a Necromancer and all. I'll edit it.

He was such a good friend to Avior. Practically a Father figure. He will be sorely missed.

After being cast an exile from the city of Chessington, he seeked refuge, soon after, word went about Chessington of this and was then banned from the Chessington Valley, home of both cities. He then ventured off throughout the lands of Nan, unknowingly dodging a large, authoritarian land; known as Kesson's Territory, and into the Danteen Desert, where he lived for 20 years. Luckily, some settlers from Nyland found him in his sleep, dehyrated, dirty and sick, they took him into their hospitality and settled just four miles away from Nyland - to expand their political borders.
Six years following, he was caught stealing jewlery from the mayors wife and was chased away from the young city, and once again, vanished from a city, seeking refuge in another. Unfortunately, this next city was Daydelon, a city within Kesson's Territory. Kesson's Territory was a land of slavery, and since the man was a refugee from three cities, King Kesson did not want him in his land, so they sold him and shipped him off to a foreign land; unfortunately, the ship was destroyed by a storm and the man washed up on the shore of an unknown land, in an unexplored corner of the planet. When the man woke up, was filled with shame and embaressment because of his past decisions, the fact that he betrayed those who took him in during his time of need, sickened him. The man passed out of sickness and stress, legend has it, spirits of the unknown put him to sleep with a powerful mist in order to consume his body. Those spirits were said to be messengers from a greater power of spirits, spirits sent to perform what the greater spirits want to be performed. Never the less, the man woke up a very long time afterwards, realizing his hair has grown, his body is larger, and has the power of darkness, which he does not yet understand how to use properly yet.
This man's name is Cedric Ghandril.

*Since I haven't updated as I went along, I'll just skip to recently*

After the slaying of Sight, Cedric has decided to set back for Chessington, and Hardeu has left his body. Hardeu was given a second life on the land of Betelgeuse, which he graciously excepted. Hardeu was now much more spiritual.. a result of being in heaven.

Hardeu was sent back to Vendigroth, where he re united with those he had left behind. The land was calm and empty, with Sight being gone. He set off far into the depths of the forest, past the trouble some tundra he once lived in, and built a home. Somewhere down the line, he ran into a human woman named Aritha, whom wanted to become part elf. Hardeu is now going to try and give her elven food and drinks to get her to slowly conform, and if all else fails, Eli will do the job - which is painful.
Aritha told Hardeu how she wishes to live as long as an elf, as humans have short lives, and he decided he would put together a fountain of youth, but to finish such a thing, will require much time and determination, as he must find a stone found only in the void.

Hardeu ran into Zomb, whom just arrived back to Vendigroth from months of exploration, in search for a way to kill a man who thinks he is God.. Sight, but this is because Zomb hadn't known about him being Slain, hence his months of exploration. Hardeu explained to Zomb what he needed for the fountain, so they looked around the city for others to speak to, but nobody was around. Hardeu proposed that Zomb and him begin a voyage to construct the fountain of youth, to find the void stone, which Zomb accepted. They eventually settled in Zombs home, where several others (Narkov, Valencia, Qualin) showed up requesting their help down in Ironforge.

They all gathered up and set for Ironforge, where Sight informed everyone of Lunas issue, and possibly conformity, and that Eli may be apart of it in the near future due to their companionship. Sight informed everyone to live within Ironforge, to set up a life there, and to await the coming troubles. Everyone agreed and went about their business, except Hardeu.

Several days following, Hardeu had spilled everything to Eli, as he isn't sure what side to choose. He knows only that Luna, Qualin and Ridgire have an issue with each other, and Luna is driven insane because she fears everyone hates her, while the other side of the story is that she is becoming evil. Hardeu is puzzled, confused, and doesn't know what to do, so he remains neutral and cautious.

Hardeu continues to pray and talk to his wife in heaven (which is only possible due to his high spirituality). He beings to think he should construct a fountain of youth in Ironforge, a fountain he hopes can revive the dead and heal the wounded, as he doesn't want any blood to be shed as a result of the coming battles.

Hardeu is now mentally seperate from everyone in Ironforge, he is not comfortable with anyone except Eli, as he is the only one who is as ignorant of the issue as him.

--

Hardeu and Ridgire have spoken of the issue and Hardeu now has a somewhat firm position in the issue. He sides with the plan, with Sight, but still has hope that he can bring Luna a solution, a healing, using the elven fountain of youth.

--

Time went by, not much has happened, Hardeu has decided to live in a forest beside Ironforge, which he has been granted the ability of an archer once more by the King of Nova. Hardeu's home is for the most part, completed, there still needs to be some finishing touches, but all is well.

Hardeu awaits the coming action, and he continues to pray.

--

Ridgire has ignored Hardeus companionship and now feels somewhat offended. Hardeu followed him to Betelgeuse, where they walked into the middle of the desert, when Eli requested help from Ridgire. Hardeu offered to help but was ignored, Ridgire accepted and they left the desert, leaving Hardeu alone to find his way back to Vendigroth.

Hardeu eventually wandered around and got back to Nova.

Hardeu prays out of rage to heaven, he feels as if the power from heaven is useless and is of little use in this realm. He's releasing his anger and hopelessness, he is losing hope in his prayer and the power he was given while in heaven.
