Invisible Children

The Invisible Children Inc. contacted the American government to inform them of the tragedies of Uganda, Africa, in hopes of spreading awareness and providing help to those effected by a tyrant rebellion known as the LRA; led by Kony.

The government refused to associate with the issue as it didn't threaten American national security nor benefit American interests. In other words, the issue was not important to America. This is exactly what had happened in Rwanda; those who do not remember the past, are condemned to repeat it.

Spread awareness, let those who do not know, know of this issue, provide help, so that this problem does not spread throughout the region, the continent, the hemisphere, the world.

The LRA is a rebellion group led by a man named Kony. It was stated that Kony only thrives to maintain power, and has no goal involving the government. Nevertheless, Kony and the LRA abduct children, often as young as three years old and older, raise the girls to be prostitutes, and the boys as soldiers; child soldiers. The boys are often forced into killing their parents and many of those who oppose the LRA.
